Those who follow me on Instagram will know how much of a foodie I am, being a daughter to two chefs does that to you! So when Degusta UK told me they were sending over their January box for me to review, I was ecstatic!
So I haven’t had a chance to try everything in the box just yet but I will review what I have had from the box so far.
Let’s start with my favourite, the Mallow and Marsh coconut bar. This was an absolute yummy delight and it was very low in terms of calories, it is a perfect little treat for when you feel peckish in the evening.
Next up is the Robinsons Raspberry, Rhubarb and Orange Blossom cordial. I love a good cordial and adding them to a glass of water during the afternoon just mixes things up a bit from the usual cup of tea. It’s not super sweet (depends how much you use) and would be great for summer.
After a trip to the gym, Mr PINKU and I decided to give the two bottles of Lighter Life shakes a try. I have to be honest, we didn’t like them much. The Vanilla flavour tasted like custard, don’t get me wrong, I love custard but shake just tasted too sweet and unhealthy.
Having not taken a liking to the lighter life shakes, we opted for the Jordan’s juicy red berries bar instead and these went down a treat. I’ve always liked their bars but for some reason, we stopped buying them in our weekly shops so I’ve got a mental note to remember to get them next time!
The Pulsin Vanilla and Choc Chip Bar was the next thing we tried, so this has 13g of protein in it and is supposed to help keep you full. It’s got a cookie dough flavour but I’ve never been much of a fan of raw cookie dough so this wasn’t for me. I did find that it helped keep me full though!
Being a massive tea drinker, I had to try the Clipper organic tea bags! All Clipper products are grown in a way that preserves the natural balance of the environment and will help sustain people, wildlife and the land for the future so even better! I’m not really that fussy when it comes to tea (I know some people will only drink a certain type of tea) and these organic tea bags did just fine for my afternoon break.
The Hersheys cookies and cream white chocolate bar was amazing! When is Hersheys chocolate never amazing though, right?! I actually prefer white chocolate to other kinds of chocolate and I practically had to fight Mr PINKU for it!
That’s my review of the January Degusta box so far, I’ll be making the spicy ramen soon so will put a little review on my Instagram for you guys if you’re interested!
